Lake Champlain Bike Path Sculptural Rest Stop

2006 - Isle La Motte, Vermont

A site-specific collaboration in Isle La Motte, Vermont, the form of the sculptural bicycle rest stop,  inspired by the fossil’s found in the local quarried stone called Champlain Black Marble,  is part of the bike path that circumvents Lake Champlain. It serves the community daily as a gathering place, a refuge and a site specific look-out over the lake.
